What personal data does Limelight collect?

We may process personal data about individuals with whom we interact, including:

• First and last name, gender, and contact details (email address, postal address, phone number and IP-address)
• Identification data such as your full name, address, date, and place of birth;
• Bank details, such as your account number, IBAN and BIC;
• Personal data you disclose in connection with a job application; and
• Any other personal data or financial information you submit to us that is necessary to provide you with a donation.

We process these personal data only for the purposes outlined below:

• grant making, for instance the assessment of an application for a donation;
• the fulfilment of legal obligations;
• the management of a business relationships;
• responding to enquiries about our work; and
• recruitment and selection.

For how long does Limelight store your personal data?

Limelight Foundation stores personal data as long as it is legally obliged to do so. In the event that no legal retention period applies, we store personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, taking into account legal, contractual, and operational requirements.

Does Limelight share my personal data with third parties?

We only share your personal data with third parties to the extent that this is necessary for the purposes specified in this Privacy Statement.

The data you have exchanged with Limelight in the context of a (potential) donation are stored on servers in the Netherlands.

How does Limelight protect your personal data?

Limelight takes the protection of personal data seriously and has taken several organizational and technical measures to ensure that the personal data are well protected against loss or unlawful processing, including secure servers, firewalls, and encrypted messaging. If, despite the above-mentioned measures, you note a (possible) data breach, we ask you to notify us as soon as possible via enquiries@limelight.foundation.

What are your rights?

You have the right to request us to provide you with an overview of your personal data, to rectify any inaccurate personal data, to delete, to stop processing or transfer your personal data. You can do this by contacting us at enquiries@limelight.foundation. We will respond as soon as possible, but in any case, within four weeks. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent authority. In the Netherlands, this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
